Data Collection

Robin does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data.

What the Extension Does

  • Reads the DOM of the current web page when you click the extension
  • Captures CSS styles, layout information, and image URLs
  • Downloads images from the page (locally in your browser)
  • Packages this data into a .zip file
  • Saves the .zip file to your computer

What the Extension Does NOT Do

  • No data is sent to any external server (except fetching images from the page you're viewing)
  • No tracking or analytics
  • No user accounts
  • No data is stored after the extension is closed

Permissions Explained

The Chrome extension requires these permissions:

  • activeTab — Required to read the page you're viewing
  • downloads — Required to save the .zip file to your computer
  • tabs — Required to get the current tab information
  • scripting — Required to inject the capture script
  • *://*/* — Required to work on any website

Figma Plugin

The Figma plugin opens the .zip file you created and creates frames in your local Figma file. It contacts api.polar.sh only for license verification.
